BMW 2002
It's the late 1960's. You're looking for a sports car that you can also use for daily, all-weather, city driving. You didn't really have a choice until a near bankrupt BMW agreed to release the 2002 at the at the insistence of two of its engineers and an American importer. The '02 handled amazingly, and was an instant hit. It put BMW on its current trend of success.
Produced between 1958 and 1976, the '02 is still sought after for for driving enjoyment. Pictured is the 1974-'76 model, with the rectangular taillamps and the larger bumper.
