This scene reminded of the logo of
Kappa, an Italian sporting clothes and accessories brand. It turns out that the logo was inspired by a photograph of a back-lit
silhouette of a male and female model sitting back to back.
In Japanese mythology,
Kappa (river-child) is a legendary water creature that is generally seen as a mischievous troublemaker. They are humanoid creatures with reptilian skin, and, webbed hands and feet. They have an indentation on the top of their heads that holds water, and gives them their powers. They have been frequently blamed for kidnapping children and drowning people. Kappa are obsessed with being polite. The only way to escape them is to compel them into a deep bow so that they spill the water on their head. If they do spill it, they can not follow their victims. Japanese have a saying "a kappa drowning in a river", which means,
even experts make mistakes.
