I spotted this at a bookstore window. No Amazon reviews. Supposedly, it's about "dropping out of mainstream society". Why would anyone want to do that?

Dropping out of "mainstream society" is not that difficult here in the United States. Just stop being "economically viable and you are out, you're "nobody", you are an unperson and you will be invisible almost immediately. But then, they might still not leave you alone, because you are an asset for for-profit prisons.

I was thinking about the reasons I might want to disappear, that is, "drop out of mainstream society". Back in the day, there were only 10 commandments to follow. Now we have 10,000. It's overwhelming...
