Hadrian's Gate is still used as a gateway to the Old City today. Legend has it that The Biblical
Queen of Sheba passed through a predecessor of the gate, but the city of
Antalya was founded much later, at about 150 BC, by the "brother loving" King of Pergamon
Attalus II Philadelphus.
