"Medeni" translates as "civilized" from Turkish.

Governments are spying on us. Corporations are spying on us. Computers are spying on us. Cell phones are spying on us. Department stores are spying on us. "Smart" TV's are spying on us. Cars are spying on us. Even billboards are spying on us. And, our friends, neighbors and school teachers are being encouraged to spy on us.

Authors H. G. Wells, Franz Kafka, Yevgeny Zamyatin, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Philip K. Dick, Ray Bradbury, Vladimir Nabokov warned us about a future riddled with mass surveillance. We didn't pay attention and dismissed it all as fiction. Well, that future has come. In the year 2015, "civilization" is characterized by surveillance. As so-called science and technology progress further, it's only going to get worst.
