Imagine a sealed box with a cat in it. Under normal circumstances, you would think that the cat is
either dead or alive. Now imagine a situation where the cat remains
both dead and alive until the box is opened. That is exactly what the Nobel Prize winning physicist
Erwin Schrodinger proposed to illustrate the absurdity of the
Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics.
It seems like Quantum Physics and Neuroscience have hit the hard limits of rational explanations of
Reality. Beyond a certain point, Reality seems to collapse into absurdity. And all attempts to resolve the
Schrodinger's Cat paradox, or the
Hard Problem of Consciousness has lead to even more absurdities. Could it be that Mystery would like to remain mysterious?
There is a great possibility that Reality is inherently absurd or paradoxical. Embrace the Mystery.
