I'm reading an interesting book titled
Augustine's Laws by
Norman Ralph Augustine, the ex Chairman and CEO of Lockheed Martin Corporation. The Laws are a
series of aphorism dealing with project management, and in general, management blunders. It turns out the "smartest" among us are also pretty
dumb.
In the book, the author writes about an ad run by United Technologies Corporation: "When forty million people believe in a dumb idea, It's still a dumb idea". 'Forty million' is an underestimate.
