The White-throated Sparrow is an attractive little bird that breeds in central Canada and New England. It forages on the ground under low vegetation and mainly feeds on seeds, insects and berries.

The White-throated Sparrow comes in two morphs: white-crowned and tan-crowned - individuals almost always mate with a bird of the opposite morph.
