I believe this is the 1951 model of the
Willys Jeep Truck. It was spotted in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
During World War II, more than 800,000 US soldiers were treated for something called the
Jeep Seat. Most of these soldiers happened to ride in bumpy Jeeps which irritated their coccyx and caused a condition called
Pilonidal Cyst. Painful!
This is another photo shot in
harsh light but this time I made the mistake of forgetting to reset the ISO setting.
