The
Eastern Kingbird is a large
flycatcher with a long black tail and a white tail tip. It migrates between North and South America and breeds in the North during summer. It hunts by catching insects in flight and can be very aggressive in defending its territory. Kingbirds are known to be fearless and often take on large crows, vultures, herons and hawks.
