Increasingly, I see catchphrases on church billboards in many places I visit. So I decided to use my WiFi connection to look up church attendance numbers and trends both in the United States and the rest of the world. Most numbers come from survey based studies and vary greatly; In The United States, regular church attendance seems to be between 21% and 44%.

Even with that discrepancy, United States seems to have one of the higher rates of church attendance among many countries; especially developed ones. Despite this, the general trend seems to be consistent with a decline in church attendance.
