Shofuso is an authentic 17th century style Japanese house in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. It was opened to the public in 1958.

The house is the unique example of the Shoin-zukuri style in the United States. It has drawn the attention of and influenced many architects, interior designers, decorators, artists and landscape gardeners.

It is open sasonally between April and October, and is a must-see if you are in Philadelphia.
