As always, I just seem incapable of posting a photo without some wiseass remark about something else.

The Quran mentions a corrupt city of lofty pillars named "Iram" whose leaders oppressed their people. Just like the Pharaoh in Egypt, "God poured upon them a scourge of punishment". In his seminal short story "The Call of Cthulhu", H.P. Lovecraft, inspired by the Iram story, designed his "ruined city" as the center of the Cthulhu Cult. What will be the fate of our own "City of Lofty Pillars"?
