Be you. Is that good advice? What if
you are an arsehole, should you continue "being you"? Contrast it with
"know thyself".
It's actually more complicated than that. If, as
Kurt Vonnegut put it,
"A sane person to an insane society must appear insane", that we can't even begin to gauge the sanity of others, how can we ascertain our own "sanity"? Isn't "sanity" a prerequisite to "being you"?
