It's true that for a lot of us life has become easier, more exciting and more colorful in the last fifty to hundred years, although 80% of humanity still lives on less than $10 a day and the gap between the rich and the poor has grown drastically. For those of us who are fortunate enough to have the resources to travel and see extraordinary places, life is good. But at what expense? For us to enjoy our way of life, we have to look the other way and pretend that our prosperity will last "forever". In reality, we might be last generation who can actually enjoy the world. Take for example the 650 mile stretch of the Turkish Riviera - almost every beach, every cove and every attraction is being "developed"...
