A door is both a
portal, an
entrance, and an
exit. Yet we prevailingly imagine it as an
entrance. All too often, we construct
mental asymmetries where none exist.
We consider kindness to be a virtue, but, for some reason, we refrain from confronting injustice as if confrontation was a vice. A virtuous person is only virtuous when he or she is benevolent towards the weak
and has the courage to stand up against the transgressions of the strong. Most virtues are symmetrical. On it's own,
frugality is not a virtue unless we are
also proactive.
