The "Strawberry Fields" section of Central Park has been dedicated to the memory John Lennon. Lennon lived across the park in an apartment building called The Dakota, which was also the location of his murder in 1980. This memorial mosaic has become a shire for Lennon and Beatles fans. John Lennon was truly ahead of his time.
