Everything is deep in the eye! Most of a our learning comes through visual perception. Although we almost instantly recognize the forms of things first, we have a natural inclination to seek the face and especially the eyes from which we get a lot of useful information. Photographers try make sure that the eyes of their subjects are in focus in order to communicate the information in the face and eyes of their subjects.
