As I was taking this photograph, I was wondering about those who built these
Rock Tombs 2500 years ago. How they must have planned the
necropolis, climbed those stiff cliffs, chipping at the rocks to build the elaborate funeral chambers. In a way things have changed a lot in 2,500 years. In a way, not much has changed. Maybe, 2,500 years ago, someone stood exactly where I stood, under a moonlight, and wondered about the past and the future, staring at the dead.
