The main entrance to
Saint Mark's Episcopal Church in Center City, Philadelphia, built between 1848 and 1849, was decorated with embellishments in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It turns out that the
Fiske Doors "seemed quite scandalous" at the time they were first installed due to their brilliant red color.
