Ionia: Land of Olive and Grape
Ionia, the region around Izmir is the land of olive and grape. This photograph was taken in the Turgutlu district of Manisa. Olive trees can be seen in the background and vines are being prepared in the foreground.
Ionian School of Philosophy is a misnomer referring to diverse philosophies that arose in Ionia. Seems like olive and grape are a good excuse to philosophize.
