Dark Ages. China, the Islamic world, Mayan civilization and West African kingdoms were flourishing, whereas Europe was in conflict. The world looked
very different. If we do make it without destroying ourselves for another 1000 or 10,000 years, the world will predictably be a different place. New York City may or may not have a skyline...
