Is automobile design art? Should form follow function? It is interesting that in the 1950s, while American intellectuals were criticizing American car designs using European design theories, European intellectuals were beginning to praise American car designs.
Many 1950s American cars turn heads even today. This 1955 Chevrolet Nomad is no exception. Even the couple in it were the '50s. Love it.
