Window Detail, Battal Gazi Kulliye

A kulliye is complex of buildings usually centered around a mosque. Kulliyes were prominent during Seljuk, Timurid and Ottomon dynasties. Besides the mosque, typical buildings in kulliyes included a university, clinic, kitchens, dining areas, baths, guest quarters and other charitable service buildings. This window with calligraphy above it is on one of the buildings in Battal Gazi Kulliye in the town of Seyitgazi. Detail below:
