The Wild Goat is widespread species of goat which is also the ancestor of the domestic goat. The domestication of goats started at least 10,000 years ago in Northern Iran. The term scapegoat is derived from a Jewish Tradition of choosing two goats during Yom Kippur, sacrificing one while releasing the other to the wilderness, and with it, the sins of the community.

As I was preparing to take the photograph posted in yesterday's post, I heard this guy behind me, in the distance. A quick lens-change, and he didn't disappoint; Nice pose.
